Unless noted otherwise, classes run for 6 weeks one night a week.  Classes generally last one hour or less depending on class size, content and age of the dog. Cost is $100 for 6 week session.

  • Please be sure to bring the correct amount of cash ($100). We may not have change.
  • Proof of rabies vaccination from veterinarian required for entry into class (exception young puppies - puppies must have 2 sets of shots before taking classes).

Classes will be held at our indoor training facility located at 8175 S. Osage (just 1/4 mile north of Loop 335 and Osage).
Look for the property with red pipe fencing and follow the drive way up to the red hangar, enter the south hangar on the 
east side. (Drive-way has two reflectors)

Class sizes are limited to provide you with the best possible instruction. Below is the list of classes that will be offered.

Bring to class:

A healthy dog free of parasites (fleas & ticks) on a buckle/snap collar and a 4-6 foot soft leash (not chain).  You will need lots of small, soft treats.  We find the dogs like string cheese, hot dogs, and chicken! 

PUPPY - This is a class limited only to puppies.  This is to help with the puppy woes and worries of teaching the simplest steps in getting your puppy out and about. This class will teach some basic commands of sit, down, stay and come when called and also consists of socialization and working on games to teach your puppy how to learn. For the safety of your puppy, she will need to have had at least her second set of puppy vaccinations to attend.
BASIC OBEDIENCE You and your dog will learn the basics of training. At the end of six weeks your dog will come when called, walk on a loose leash, sit, down and stay. There will also be information regarding socialization, grooming and health. 

 COMPETITION Foundation - For this class the dog needs to know all of the individual elements of Novice Obedience in the show ring. (Sit, stay, down, heel with attention, stand, come, and finish.) Work will be done on handling your dog in and out of the ring, setting up for exercises, building enthusiasm, attire, rules and regulations, proofing and polishing the exercises.
Instructor approval is required. 
ADVANCED COMPETITION / SHOW PREP - Instructor approval is required. 

RALLY - AKC Rally is a successful stepping stone from the AKC Canine Good Citizen® program to the world of obedience or agility. This class will focus on preparing students for AKC Rally showing for all levels.  Prerequisite includes a Basic Obedience class.

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an exciting new program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program is an incentive program for loving dog owners who have taken the time to take their puppies through a basic training class. For more information, visit

Beginner weaves - This class is designed to introduce and proof channel weaves. This class requires the students to practice the lessons at least 3-4 times per week. The sudents that progress at a satisfactory rate will be asked to attend another 4 week advanced class that involves more proofing. Instuctor approval is needed.

FLATWORK Flatwork is the agility foundation, teaching you how to handle and how to make all your body language clear, consistent, coherent, and timely while teaching your dog how to take direction and stay on course!

RALLY ADVANCED & EXCELLENT - This class will focus on course work for the Advanced and Excellent levels of AKC Rally.

CLICKER - Any dog of any age interested in a beginning level of the exciting world of clicker.
